  2. Where are you based?

    Our Studio and flagship store is based in Fitzroy, Melbourne. We also have stores in London and on the Mornington Peninsula. 

  3. What is gold plating and vermeil?

    Vermeil is a term used for jewelry made of sterling silver and coated with gold. The word “vermeil” comes from French and is pronounced “ver-may.” The term vermeil is legally regulated and to qualify, a piece of jewelry must meet certain criteria. Its base must be sterling silver, it must be plated in gold of at least 10 karats, and the gold plating must have a thickness of at least 2.5 microns. We only offer 18K vermeil and plate 4 microns as standard. We will vermeil bracelets, earrings and necklaces for an additional $200, however we do not vermeil rings, sorry!

  4. Can I wear my jewellery in water?

    All of our jewelry can be worn all the time and all of our stones, including Aussie opals are colorfast, but we suggest taking them off when gardening, rock climbing or doing anything dangerous. 

  5. Do you engrave?

    1. Yes! We engrave custom pieces only. It is an additional $100, please allow a few extra days for this process and advise the team during the custom consultation. 
  6. What's the difference between lab grown and natural stones?

    Lab stones are amazing and are a great choice for so many reasons. They have a lighter carbon footprint, are more ethical, no mining is involved, they are flawless and cost less. 

  7. Where do you source all your jewels?

    Millie has spent years sourcing and building strong relationships with gemologists and suppliers from all over the world having regularly attended gem trade shows in Hong Kong and Bangkok. All opals come directly from miners in Mintabie, South Australia and most of our diamonds come from suppliers in Melbourne.

  9. Do you ship worldwide?

    Yes we ship internationally! All parcels are sent with tracking numbers that you will receive via email when the parcel is dispatched. 

    International shipping is free for orders over $500 AUD, there is a flat fee of $50 for express post via DHL. 

    Domestic orders are free over $350, otherwise there is a $15 flat fee via Australia Post.

  10. How long does shipping take?

    All purchases will be shipped within 48 hours unless you're purchasing a One-Off Beauty that needs to be resized. The resizing process time varies depending on how much the size has to be increased or decreased. Please allow 10 days for delivery.

  12. How do I pay for custom order?

    During the custom consultation process we will send you a personalized custom payment link via email. You can pay with your debit or credit card, Paypal, After-pay, Sezzle or Lay-buy. Please note, custom orders are final, we can’t offer exchanges or returns on custom pieces.

  13. Do you have payment plan?

    Yes, you can pay your piece off over 6 months. Once your piece is paid off, we'll dispatch your order. Please contact hello@milliesavage.com to set up the payment plan.

  14. Gift card payment

     If you're spoilt for choice when buying a gift, get a voucher! We sell digital and physical vouchers from $50. It's easy to purchase something using a gift voucher, simply proceed to check out as usual and enter the code on the voucher when prompted, you can apply more than one code at checkout if you're lucky enough to have more than one!

  16. How do I order my size on your website?

    Our standard ring sizes are Australian: J | L | M | N | O | P | Q. Simply use the drop down menu on each style to select your size. If you need a custom size then please email hello@milliesavage.com and we will order your custom size for you, then send you a payment link to complete your purchase. If you don't know your size, please email hello@milliesavage.com nand we will send you instructions to work it out.

  17. Can I resize my ring if I order the wrong size?

    Standard size collection pieces in silver can be exchanged for another standard size within 30 days of purchase. One Off Beauties, Customs, solid gold & custom sized collection pieces can be resized up or down, up to a maximum of three sizes. Resize fee is $50 AUD and takes up to two weeks.

  19. Do you do custom orders?

    Yes, we love customs! Millie loves working with you, to make your dreams come true! Custom orders start at $1000 AUD. Check out the custom ring builder to design your own piece, or book a consultation with Millie, or one of our team in Fitzroy via the Custom Consultation booking form.

  20. How does the design for a custom order work?

    It’s a combined effort between you and Millie. If you want to hand over complete creative control to Millie, she will design something amazing for you or if you have something specific in mind, we can work with you to make that a reality too. 

    You will work with us, either via email consultation or during an in person custom consultation in our Fitzroy studio to pick your stones, style, and metal and Millie will create your new heirloom for you, before we go through the approval process. Once you have approved your piece we send it to be cast, then set the stones. 

  21. How long does a custom order take?

    All custom orders take 12 weeks, plus postage. 

  22. Can I book a consultation?

    We only book custom consultations for our Fitzroy studio, jump online and book an appointment via our customs page. If you can't make it into Fitzroy, email customs@milliesavage.com to enquire, we will make your dreams come true wherever you are!

  23. Returns, Exchanges, Resizes & Repairs

  24. Returns

    We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    To start a return, you can contact us at hello@milliesavage.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 337 Smith Street, Fitzroy , VIC, 3065 or dropped off in store. 

    If your return is accepted, we’ll reply with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

    Please note that if your country of residence is not Australia, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

    Please note, custom products cannot be returned or refunded. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. You can always contact us for any return questions at hello@milliesavage.com.

  25. Damages and Issues

    Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

    Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, Not Quite Right items or gift cards.

  26. Exchanges

    The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. We will happily exchange in store if we have stock available. 

  27. Refunds

    We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not.

    If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

  28. Repairs

    Any manufacturing faults will be repaired free of charge within the 12 month warranty period, please contact  hello@milliesavage.com if you believe your item is faulty and we will assess the item for you. European and United Kingdom customers can contact london@miliesavage.com

    You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    Damages outside of the 12 month warranty will need to be assessed and we will provide a quote depending on the work required. Please follow your care instructions carefully to ensure you properly look after your jewelry and no damages occur. 

  29. Resizes

    All purchases of One Off Beauties include a complimentary resize of up to 3 sizes bigger or 3 sizes smaller. All other resizes incur a $50 fee.

    We cannot resize silver collection pieces, instead we are happy to offer exchanges for the correct size. Contact us at hello@milliesavage.com if you are unsure if you are eligible for a resize or exchange of size.
