Customs Consultation

Designing custom jewellery with you is my favourite part of my job. I love getting to hear your stories and secrets, whether it’s for an engagement ring, a special birthday, a divorce present or just because you want (and deserve) a little treat. Jewellery marks milestones and carries meaning, and I’m privileged to make these talismans for you to wear for life.

We can start completely from scratch or I can rework old jewellery and stones you already have into something new. You can come to me with an exact idea, a few references, or absolutely no idea at all and we’ll work it out together. I’ll then make your future heirloom at my farm studio down on the surf coast, with all stone setting done in our Melbourne studio.

One of my gorgeous customs team reps will guide you through the whole process, helping you choose your stones, work through the design, and bring your ideas together. They’ll keep you updated along the way and make the whole thing super easy.

Determining the correct ring size can be a fickle job, but thankfully there are a few different ways to easily find your perfect ring size for every finger (because each one is a little different, kinda like our OOBs!)

If you've ever been jewellery shopping online and didn't know what ring size to choose, this guide will show you the fastest and easiest ways to measure your fingers at home - all you need is a ring and a ruler.

This method will be the quickest way to find your ring size using a ring you already own and wear.

Step 1: Choose a ring that fits comfortable on the finger you plan on wearing your new ring on.

Step 2: Using a ruler, measure the internal diameter of the ring in millimetres (mm) by laying your ring on top of the ruler. You're only looking for the measurement of the inside of the ring here, so place the inner edge at 0 and count from there.

Step 3: Using our Ring Size Chart to convert your diameter measurement into the correct size.

Measuring a ring size is easy but it's just as easy to mess up - the smallest error can change your measurement by half a size or more! Here are some of the most common mistakes to look out for and avoid:

1. Measuring when your fingers are cold
Fingers will shrink in the cold, so it's always best to measure your fingers when the temperature is moderate. Afternoon and evening tend to offer the most accurate results because your body has been moving for longer.

3. Ignoring band width
Wide bands often have a snug fit compared to thin bands, so you may need to size up slightly.

4. Measuring only once
No one gets it right the first time: finger sizes can change due to lifestyle and health changes, and sometimes poor lighting or an unsteady hand can affect how accurately you measure. Take two or three measurements and check for consistency.
